The Shipibo’s see and hear these patterns in nature and reproduce them in song and design for a variety of purposes such as protection, healing, abundance and harmony. Each of the designs has a specific meaning and can be sung as each of these artful prayers also function as a musical score, called an Icaro.

The design element and the Icaro operate cohesively to carry the power of the healing or blessing.

Each textile is one-of-a-kind and handmade, this one is an antique design.

This textile is 24 inches by 59 inches and is suitable for framing and hanging.
