Description

These Peruvian Q'ero Ties, also known as Watana Ties, are hand woven and beaded – typical from Cuzco, Peru and surrounding areas.

The Q’ero people live in the high, remote Andes. In the area surrounding Qosqo/Cusco, Peru they live on and near the sacred glacial mountain, Ausangate rising to 21,000 feet. Their teachings say when the glaciers are melted at 16,000 feet their wisdom will be needed to support and guide in the world. That time is now.

Q'ero Ties can be used as a hat band, to tie your Mesa, for offerings and despacho ceremony, or worn for protection as a beautiful wrap bracelet or necklace. The tiny beads are called pini and represent the stars (Sami).

They are approximately 38-44 inches long and come in a variety of colors.
