Our involvement in numerous projects has not only deepened our connection with these cultures but has also allowed us to make tangible contributions to the continuation of their practices and traditions..
Fortifying Kogi Spiritual Women’s Wisdom in Colombia
In collaboration with the Kogi Nation, and directed by the mámas, their spiritual and community leaders, this project has worked to deepen and share spiritual midwifery practices among the Kogi in Colombia. This initiative celebrates the sacred wisdom passed down by the holy women of the Kogi and fosters a community of support and while honoring the important piece of sacred knowledge that they hold.

Preserving Sacred Lands with the Wixaritari
In partnership with the the Real de Catorce Project, we supported the participation of Wixaritari leaders and their voices in this project that focuses on preserving the sacred land of the Huiricuta Natural and Cultural Reserve. By safeguarding these vital spaces, we honor their cultural heritage and ecological significance.

Advancing Intergenerational Knowledge in Guatemala
Through our collaboration with Saq Be’ in Guatemala, we expanded our support to a new apprenticeship program. This initiative pairs Mayan elders with young community members, ensuring the transfer of intergenerational knowledge and promoting cultural continuity.

Revitalization of the Itza Language and Culture
The Itza project in Guatemala embodies our commitment to language and cultural revitalization efforts. By supporting initiatives that preserve languages and cultural practices, we contribute to the resilience and vibrancy of Indigenous communities.
Restoring Ancestral Wisdom in Ecuador
Our partnership with the Sarakayu in Ecuador highlights our commitment to preserving and revitalizing ancestral wisdom. With the support of the Center, a healing hut for local children to learn from elders has been completed. The next phase of this project is focused on creating a garden space for children and community members to learn about the use of ancestral healing plants with a goal toward empowering future generations to connect with their heritage and healing traditions. We will be sharing more updates on this good work soon.
Continuing Support for Shipibo Kurin Metsa School in Peru
Our ongoing support for the Shipibo Kurin Metsa school in Peru underscores our dedication to education and sustainable practices. Students engage with medicinal plants, nurture gardens, and contribute to the continuity of their cultural practices.
